I've read that the half life of THC in fatty tissues is between one and ten days. Does anyone know how quickly the other cannabinoids break down? I'm specifically interested in Cannabidiol (CBD).

This is very interesting, thank you.

So it appears that CBD has a shorter half life.

It is broadly accepted that CBD counterbalances THC as part of the cannabis buzz. CBD seems to mellow the spikier edges of THC and is reputed to work as an antipsychotic. Both are stored in body fat but it seems from this that CBD is not stored for as long as THC. I have recently read that when the body breaks down its fat stores when you're hungry, stored cannabinoids will also be released. I have a high cannabis intake and when I get hungry I become vaguely irrational and feel mentally racy, confused and paranoid. I wondered if there was any connection between this and stored THC being released without the counterbalancing CBD. It's just a theory but it interests me.
