Half-life duration between different ROAs

Curious how much the half life duration differs between basic ROAS when given a drug such as suboxone.
(IV, intranasal, sublingual, plugging) ?

the half life of the compound is almost always unchanged but the duration will change depending on how much affinity other body tissues have.

Right: we can think of routes other than IV administration as in-built time-release mechanisms of various rates.

So...using suboxone as an example...around what are the times for different ROAs?

IV will have the least tissue buffering (shortest peak, fastest duration), because the drug will be delivered directly to the blood where it can be metabolised, plugging/snorting will be next in line (because the drug has 1 major mucus membrane to cross which acts as a reservoir), oral will have the most (longer onset, longer duration) because of the liver and such retarding the entrance of the compound into the blood.

The difference is not in how fast the drugs are broken down, but how fast their concentrations rise in blood.

Its been 24 hours since I last ived 2mg and insufflated 4 mg suboxone. tried to do a shot of some quality powder, not much effect except for a strange dizzy feeling. I think ill give it another 24 hours to try again or wait til im in extreme withdrawals.
Ive been slipping up recently in my suboxone maintenance unfortunately, I just want one good rush.
