Hair Sample Test Help - URGENT.

Well...
I finally landed the job I wanted for the summer....12 bucks an hour as opposed to my 7 I work now. And they tell me I have to take a hair test in 6 days. The ONLY thing I've done in the past 2-3 months is weed, and I smoked a week ago. Before that, I did do Coke (one SMALL line my only time) about 3.5 months ago.

This job oppurtunity was unexpected or else I'd of been more careful. My question is...is there ANY way to cleanse my hair? I can't shave it, that's not an option. I know there are special shampoos but I dont have time to wait for an order. Is there any place to go to get these? A Vitamin Store like GNC possibly? Anything I can do, or am I basically screwed?
A quick response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Ok the smoke shop in my town has the shampoos. Any word on the effectiveness though?

I've heard that the shampoo, is really only good for the THC detection... but who knows.
Good luck though, if they do find anything and it's a small amount. They may overlook it, or ask you about it. Just say, that your freands smoked and they offered you some.. you didn't like it and you no longer do it. Then, hope to god they really want to hire you and you get the job.
BTW. Where is this job, is it in Florida, or Buffalo NY and how can I apply.

The name of the shampoo I got is All Clear Purifying Shampoo. The guy at the shop highly recomended it. There's a gel and a shampoo that you're supposed to use. Can anyone help me out as to whether this will work or not?
I also heard that right before I use the shampoo to wash my hair with apple cider vinegar to open the pores.
Should I even bother, because I've smoked a lot this month.

Just for my own information, what kind of job is this?

Here's the kicker...it's a friggin' PAINTING job for the summer (8 weeks) thats IT. And they need a hair test.
Anyone else know about the shampoos?

Look into bleaching it. It goes deep enough to take out pigments maybe it will clean out any unwanted signals.

I had a hair test that I passed a couple of months ago...I was really dirty too. I had my hair bleached...AND I got one of those special shampoos from the local smoke shop. The guy said they are all created equal..I forget which one I did..but usually the salesperson can help you out if you ask which one is the best. I have super long hair and I did substances a week before..and I passed..so its possible (unless I didn't pass and they hired me anyway..who knows). Hope this helps.

I don't think the shampoos would do you much good after having read a little on them.. see, the shampoos will clean the oils off your hair, but for the hair test they actully liquify the cutting and test that - sorry, your options are to either shave bare (as any new hair would be clean, provided you stay sober).. or to try bleaching..
Why not just shave yourself bare? With the exception of your head, most girls stay nice and hair free, they have to, or we would beat them..

thanks Phreex, much appreciated for the reading up. I just don't want to go embarass myself by failing a drug test you know? And I don't need my mother finding out why I didn't get the job. It's a shame I was smoking at school 4 times a day because it was the week of finals and I needed to relax...if I would have known I would have given the shit up for 3 months in a heartbeat. Oh well, that's life. Thanks again...
