Gym or just Running?

you don't need and gym especially if your trying to save time. gyms are more essential for guys trying to lift and get strong

honestly, pretty much anybody can get about as strong as they want using body-weight exercises. weight-lifting is certainly useful, but it's not essential if you know what you're doing.

cardio after weights :D

for a more effecient workout, besides warming muscles with warmup cardio. ^^

See the thing is the cardio i do before my weights never seems to drain me from energy to lift weights. In fact i feel totally warmed up and rearing to go if i do the cardio first... does it really make much difference if i do my cardio first?

^^I do the same, and I definitely don't have a lack of energy either, so I figure it's definitely okay to do it this way. Doing cardio first gets me totally pumped for strength training!

I have the same problem that you mentioned before, dfrs. A very busy work schedule with long days make it hard to stay on top of things. Mixing it up with a variety of classes along with strength training (I know PI does the same, right? :)) is really key to staying motivated. I find it easier to get to the gym for a class, and I really dig mixing it up and doing different things. Does your gym not have fitness classes you can take? I do yoga, kick-boxing, etc. all as a part of my membership.

Oh and I will second whoever said ashtanga. It's killer!

I have never tried. It hasn't been a personal goal.
I weigh about 130lbs. I can bench 75 lbs (3 sets of 10).
I will work up to it and try to get in a solid lift.

^^ well yo max is probally about your body weight then, i can put up about my weight once, not what you'd do to like actually working out but i have to test my max everycouple weeks to see improvemtn and shit
