Some days you will search for your comfort,
When you've no one to speak to but yourself,
Bleed into lines about the hand you've been dealt,
Stay with words and get away,
Far away,
From Earth,
From the public,
Somewhere in a dream within a dream,
You'll find that what you've been looking for,
Is glimmered on the rocks,
Let smoke wane, drift, and waft,
Over the ashes of a previous life you've grown to mourn,
Drape your spirit in the daggers of the day,
Poseidon keeps those who do not wish to stay,
Breath of gloom, shame of repent,
Follow you,
If you,
Don't relent
Next dawn you'll bless your countings,
With a mirror made of silk,
Tide is always rising,
Don't believe in guilt
