Guided therapy with LSD

Hi looking for information about doing guided therapy with LSD. I have read a little about it in the various posts but there is soo much information here I'm not sure where to start.
A little background information of the situation:
  • high possibility of PTSD resulting from traumatic childhood experiences
  • possible suppression of memories, blanks in memories
  • diagnosed with ADD, currently prescribed adderall
  • usage of cannabis to help with depression
  • high anxiety in normal every day life situations
    • cannabis user for 8 years- would prefer to smoke cannabis like cigarettes to ease anxious tendancies

this therapy is something that i am interested in for a friend of mine who is suffering from the above.
i am very close with this person and i wonder if i could guide the session or if there should be an uninvolved 3rd party.

what kind of dosages have been used or are recommended?
any links to information on this website or others are very welcome.

where are you from? what's your educational background? why did you decide for LSD? what are your intentions for the sessions?

i live in the US. I am currently a college student in my 3rd year. i am going for communications with a concentration in public relations but lately, i have found it very difficult to ignore that i may be able to help the world in a more efficient way if i devoted my studies to psychology or social work, which is what the energies around me seem to pull to. i am not sure if i am emotionally strong enough for that kind of stress day in and day out. i fear getting burnt out. i'm the sort that wants to take all the puppies from the pound home :\

i am open to other substances for this kind of treatment, LSD is just what i've been able to find the most data on and it is relatively easy for me to find and also, not extremely expensive.

i would like to be able to get this person to a state where they are enjoying life, not simply tolerating it or going through the motions. i want them to be able to experience joy without worry or anxiety on a daily basis.

also of note- this person is regularly seen by a psychologist once a month for the re-prescription of adderall. he is a very good psychologist and one of the few we know that is on-board with medicinal marijuana.

please let me know if anyone has further questions.

i understand there are many dire consequences with "bad trips" which is why i am seeking only intelligent information.

I would either talk to the psychologist about what you are planning on doing, or try looking for a therapist who is in the Spiritual Emergence Network (google it). You can also read up on various methods that have been used, as with Stanislav Groff. However, with PTSD, MDMA is more commonly used. And if you (or the other person) has PTSD from childhood experiences you may want to make sure it's not Borderline Personality Disorder (which has a LOT in common with PTSD). Not saying that would contraindicate your plans but it's just something else to be educated on. Therapy shouldn't be done as ammatures. It's no that you can't experience good results, it's just you might not understand what you're coming across in your trips. It all depends on how you approach it. If you approach it AS therapy then you may tread in dangerous waters. If you approach it as self discovery you may have better results. With BPD and PTSD trust is a major issue and to take pychedelics TRUST is KEY. Without a true trust a trip can go sour and it may cause more trauma than not. Good luck!

I would recommend 150µg make sure you test whatever you are getting with an LSD test kit.

Also advise whomever is getting the therapy that cannabis and adderall may not be the best choice for someone with PTSD/ Depression or anxiety symptoms. Tell them to get a doctors opinion on these two, both can cause manic thoughts.

However if you are not a licensed therapist you have absolutely no right to guide someone else's experience, just be there as a friend and for comfort make sure whomever is taking the LSD does some basic research so they know they are in safe hands with correct set / setting and dosage, as well as testing the substance you acquire. If you do not test this persons "acid" that is highly irresponsible for this circumstance.

I would say LSD is a great choice for this situation.
