growing on a hillside !!??

hey watsup BL's just a question for anyone who thinks they have an answer, ok so im growing 18 clones on a hillside some where in the forest and there is some posion oak about 4 to 5 feet away, would i have to worry about it near the plants i mean do you think the clones can be contaminated by the oak in any way??

As for the Poison Oak, you should personally watch out for it. Unless your plants are physically brushing up against the Poison Oak and collectiong the oil you are gravy baby. I love the drainage on hillsides it helps prevent some mold(s) and most root problems.

Maybe kill the Poison Oak? Thats why I got a big knife...
 
The plants are on an incline but i took a big chunck out off the hill and made 4 rows with 4 plants per row

so it looks like 4 bigs steps/ stairs
 
if you think its a problem just get some elbow length gloves and pull them out near the root then spray (or not, depends on how serious you are)

just don't let the outside of those gloves touch anything, that oil is hard to get rid of
 
Imagine if some of that oil got on to the plants, what a disaster that would be.8o

i had just found that thing and wanted to use it on somebody.

wasn't trying to flame/troll, this was just a guinea pig kind of deal. =D
 
Poison oak exposure is not fun.

The danger in it is that you do not know that you were exposed until several days later. I got exposed once and I came home without showering (the oil is water soluble.) and went to bed spreading the oil to just about everywhere in my sleep. Two days later what looked like acne started forming on my arms and legs. I went to the doctor and he said it was poison oak, and prescribed a topical cream. That was the symptoms of my first exposure, a few days after that 75% of my legs and 25% of arms turned completely red and large boils formed on my skin. I was then prescribed a potent steroid and the symptoms very gradually subsided over the span of a week.
 
so OP, with ^^that^^ post in mind just decide for yourself-- if your plants could somehow get contaminated by poison oak, do you want to risk handling/smoking some eerie kind of poison oak/pot hybrid?
 
As long as your pot plants don't physically touch the poison oak you'll be fine.

IS smoking the oil dangerous?
 
Be a god amongst the plants. Smite that poison oak with the fist of a thousand angry gods.

And let the good guy, your weed, be fruitful and multiply. It is your duty as a caretaker of this planet.

I can't imagine having that oil delivered directly to the throat and lungs. Doesn't sound like fun.
