Sup, guys? I planted two seeds in March just to see if I could grow them. After a couple weeks, I saw their leafy sprouts. So, I got my house lamp and put together a shelter with some old clothes to keep the heat in. Now, the male is taller than the female plant, but it has less leaves. The female plant has a shit ton of leaves.
Judging by this pic http://imgur.com/jKZkg it is either starting what people say are the "flower stage" or it's in the process already. They smell a little, but the smell isn't filling my whole room. There are little white hairs growing around where I think will be buds later, but I have an issue.
A few of the hairs are already turning brown and I only recently bought a plant light bulb last week. Also, three weeks ago, I bought some plant food sticks that you stick in the dirt. The extra bulb did make an obvious visible difference in growth speed, but I need to know:
Is it too late? Will the buds end up being tiny or will they get bigger?
Since the hairs are turning brown, does that mean the buds are already there and I need to trim the stalks?
By the way, I live in northwest Kentucky. Yeah, I know. So cold.
Thanks.
