you'll have to cart water in. how are you going to do that without being seen?
the weekly water might be ok depending on temperature. when the plants are 6-8 ft in the middle of summer they require a lot of water

and the plants are going to be in flower for a couple of months. do you think you can hide them well enough ?

Seriously, people watch too much DEA, Cops and so on. For every single plant you see some cops pulling out of the ground, theres atleast a few thousand that go on through maturity and get sold off in baggies.
 
There's also a decent patch of woods near my dad's house, but in my current situation I don't think I would be allowed to leave the house to go down every weekend. My dad will think I'm going to go smoke weed or some shit.
 
As long as you plant in an area with plenty of good ground water you'll be fine. Cannabis grows a long tap root that pulls water and nutrients from the soil. Even if it doesn't rain much in your area, a location near a water source, especially where you notice other plant life thriving, will be a good location for your plant. If you aren't sure, dig a small hole and feel the soil to check for moisture. Even just three or four trips to the plant over the course of the grow cycle to add fertilizer will show some good results. Good luck, and remember to keep the grow area looking as natural as possible! If someone finds that plant you want them thinking its wild!
