Growing dank using LEDs (good or bad?)

i use a 400 watt hps for flowering. those son argo bulbs are crap, they have lower lifetimes. I use a generic hps bulb and it works just fine.

I heard the lifetime is only a couple thousand hours less than standard HPS? And what do you do about the blue spectrum with HPS only growth? doesn't your plant stretch as a result?

You can get a couple cfls and that would not waste very much electricity. It can have decent results. But I would go with MH or a HPS atleast for flowering.

Agreed, get a 200watt CFL and a 125watt for a lower light, also get a red spectrum and a blue prectrum as a mix of colours is best..%)

Sulphur plasma is teh future! lol

I've seen various led grows over the years and frankly, it's just not worth anyone's time. It can be used for vegging, but flowering is still comparable to a bad cfl grow.
