I use tampax radiant, and today when I took it out the string was blue? Has this happened to any other females out there? And does anyone know why? I am experience a little pain in the area like dull can't quite explain. Dunno if it's just in my head, but I tried calling the 800 number and they're closed of course and I can't seem to find anything online.
Help please?

Are you sure the string wasn't blue before you put it in?
All my tampon strings are blue, I use a different brand though.
If you're experiencing a dull pain in your reproductive organ area, I mean, you've got your period, is it period pain? If it doesn't feel like period pain go see a doctor <3

Definitely positive it wasn't blue beforehand, and its not typical period pains. I feel like yesterday when I put it in I may have scraped something up in there with the plastic tube? But I'm not sure. I'm going to try and see a doctor, orr at least try the number in the morning.
The one thing I did find online was something called VVF, don't remember what it stood for and I didn't quite grasp what it all meant if anyone could help me out with that by any chance...
Thanks people :)

It's not VVF, unless you were brutally raped or gave birth recently, it's not gunna be VVF. And anyway if you had VVF you would be discharging urine through your vagina and urine is not likely to be blue, not to mention you would be in excruciating pain!

A small scrap from tampon tube is nothing to worry about, it'll heal in couple days.

Anywho I just did a wee google search for you and it seems blue vaginal discharge can be an indication of HPV infection. and will show up as ASCUS on a pap smear. So, make an appointment for a pap smear.

Honey we can't diagnose you online. If you're really worried drop into your local ER, otherwise see a Doctor in the morning.

Googling can seem like a good idea, but often it can make you paranoid and imagine symptoms.

I repeat - see a Doctor. :)
