Grinders and High grade herb

I have quite a few friends who are totally against putting there dro in a grinder. I find I get higher off bud that has been through a grinder. Who here uses a grinder for everything?
 
usually i break mine up by hand, and it is nearly as fine as ground.
i think you're getting higher because more product is being consumed.
then again, grinding makes the bud lose a lot of keif and trichomes so i could go either way.
 
I remember a friend of mine bought a fat sack of all dro kief. Just dip the one hitter in there, take it all in one hit and then cough your lungs out. It got me instantly stoned. Airsoft and MJ go hand in hand.
 
If your using a glass piece...bong, pipe...i just break off a piece of bud and throw it in there...grinders are good for when your going to roll a joint or blunt or something...makes it burn more evenly
 
I only use my grinder for joints, its a $5 wooden one, I like the taste of wood grinders better than metal ones.

you are supposed to smoke the weed, not the grinder. ;)=D

seriously though, how could a grinder possibly make you higher/stifle the high. sheesh. its not the grinder, its the operator. i find that i waste weed when i break it up with scissors, or my hands. all the goodies stick to my fingers!!!
 
ehh it goes either way. you lose keif either way too. but i prefer grinder cause its easier and i dont like my hands being sticky lol
 
don't stick your sticky in a grinder or the trichomes will get icky :D
 
if you have claydope use a knife (my friend used to use two tweezers....8) )
other than that i love my grinder becuase it gets me high days after i run out of weed. i use a thin paintbrush, cut off most of the brush and clean out the spikes and ridges when im out of kief and pollen (that fine fine gold dust that sticks to the metal)...and weed.:)
 
I'm with thujone on this one. grinders do take their toll. You can see this after you've used one for a while and look at all the stuff stuck inside.
 
more surface area, better burn, bigger hit. Think about it, it's impossible for it to get better after crystals fall off =p
 
I don't smoke the grinder. If you rub metal all over your weed it's going to taste like its been rubbed with metal, if you rub wood all over your weed it tastes like you rubbed wood all over it. Wood tastes better than steel.
 
Get one with a good screen or double screen, and a pollen press. Nice little bonuses
 
Yeah, the whole point of grinding is to harvest kief.

Sure, there are nugs I don't put in there. If I get ahold of some Sour Diesel it goes whole nug into the bong. When there's Northern Lights around I like to break it up by hand.

Most shit goest straight into the grinder for ease and convenience and a nice layer of kief on top.
 
I can't roll a joint without a grinder. Even with bowls, the weed will cherry much better so you won't have to keep relighting it.
 
I was too cheap to get a keif catching grinder. I'd probably use it every time if I had one but I just need one for rolling L's and J's.
