Hi everyone!!

Long time lurker here .... dealing with Initiative 520 ( posted on BL front page ) in our state and wanted to read ppls thoughts, so decided to register.

I am a long time chronic pain patient and have had my share of wacky doc's in this state who are now afraid to prescribe meds which allow us a normal "quality of life." The compassionate practitioners have left the building.

Hope I meet a lot of you on this forum and can share some of our experiences, any info I've learned, as well as a small part of my life.

Hello! I'm new here and maybe lost a bit. I just saw Pacific Northwest and felt comfy.. I have been dealing with chronic back/neck pain for 7 years now. I take powerful opiates, also cannabis, I'm at a spiritual crossroads because of this. I have dealt with w/d once, and I believe I saw the gates of Hell. Please direct me to a place where I fit in, and thank you so much for making me comfortable. :) (I'm not even sure if I am posting right :/)
 
So, I have been on Norco 10/325 4x daily and MS Contin 15mg er 3x daily for the last year and a half... I have had one surgery in Sept. 2011 and I am waiting for insurance approval for my next. These no longer are working for me, and I don't wanna take more than my script says... I did when I had a compacted, infected wisdom tooth and ran out, the withdrawl was horrendous!!! I would like to only have to take one form of narcotic, and was wondering what I should discuss with my pm when I see him next. I am so close to chewing my MS Contin for some relief, but I am also highly manic and depressed and afraid of what could happen. I could go on and on with that topic, but for now I will just stop here. Thanks in advance. :)
