Just found this site after researching Kratom withdrawals. I can see the "net" community doesn't think much about kratom withdrawals. LOL. I hope they never have to find out by having a huge habit like I did.

I am 51 hours in with no Kratom and I can feel the downslide of these withdrawals.

Anyhow, I am not against kratom in any way because I abused it like a teen boy abuses his junk. lol. It is actually a wonderful plant that helped me with a serious back issue that 2 surgeries couldn't fix. But just like pain meds (10/325 hydros @ 15/day), I was chasing the dragon. damn that dragon.

I do enjoy the fungus, as it has cured my Cluster headaches for the most part, and other than that, the daily puff of the magic is all I consume.

This site is interesting, and I hope to be able to answer any questions that people might have about Kratom withdrawals, as I have had only 8 hours of sleep since Thursday night. They are very real withdrawals. And the net only has a couple of people sharing their stories!

I have used kratom many times so I know exactly where you are coming from. Seems like a god-send for opiate addicts and then it ends up raising my tolerance to hydrocodone! I will say that kratom is a wonderful plant though and I hope it stays "around" for as long as possible.

No doubt. Never had full blown opiate withdrawals like I am having with kratom. This sucks!

But like you, I hope it stays "around" for a long time. It can be a god send, and I do think, used in controlled settings, can cure opiate addiction, or at least the withdrawals. Never noticed them when I was just on the leaf. The extracts are what f-ed me.

Hydro doesn't work at all anymore, and that sucks as well. Great buzz!

Hydros still work for me and I have found that after work I can combine some redthai kratom to give my hydros that extra euphoric push. By the way, what is your favorite strain of kratom and why? Most love Bali the most for some reason.

My favorite strand was the UEI plus about three dropper full of FST. A very potent mixture. I was spending close to $3,000 a month. Thank god I made the choice to stop. Just woke up from another wonderful valium induced 8+ hours of sleep, and I believe the worst is behind me! Yeah!

Yeah UEI is good but it could make me a little too sleepy for work. The best for my needs was 15x Bali with a little Super Red Indo for that pep of energy. I would run circles around my co-workers! Now I just use kratom when I run out of my norco script or to spice up a weekday night after work.
