Been lurking for a couple years now and decided it was finally time to join up!

I've always found the topic of psychoactive substances quite fascinating, and am eager to meet some people who share the same interest. Was a daily cannabis smoker for 3.5 years or so, but am happy to say that I am 27 days sober today, and feeling great! :)

Bluelight has always been a valuable resource and I look forward to contributing where I can!

That's crazy! I've been smoking longer than you have, the longest I went was about 10 days. The second I had my pipe and excellent quality weed again (the best grade I have ever had in a large quantity - this was the first year I started smoking) I went for it.

I guess I just can't stop myself? =D ;) I have successfully recovered from using heroin, so I guess cannabis use isn't as problematic. %)

I'm glad to have you part of the forum, and look forward to seeing more of your posts about. :)

Thanks! :)

It's been surprisingly easy so far....only a small handful of cravings (albeit it wasn't the biggest habit to begin with). Biggest thing is just not having any around, instead of it sitting there staring you in the face kinda thing.

Didn't really seem worth it to me anymore anyway, plus I wanted my motivation and short-term memory back.

Haven't gone to any festivals. Went to see Mux Mool/Lotus and Pretty Lights at First Ave last November though.
