I would first like to preemptively squash any "funny" replies about Alabama. It is not as bad as some make it out to be. I would also like to say that my Bachelor's Degree is in English with Concentration in Professional Writing and Public Discourse. My writing style might turn some away, but I honestly feel stupid if I do not type properly. I often speak very colloquially, but typing I cannot. A "10 dollar" word often more accurately describes my intent in the specific context than typing like a 12 year old. I also tend to type more than necessary.

In any event, I have been a big fan and regular reader of this terrific forum for about a year now. It is an absolute gold mine of information. I decided to join this forum because I enjoy the scholarly/scientific tilt of many of the posts and users here. My entirely unqualified opinion is that there are people who have extensive formal education in chemistry, pharmacology, etc. who are members here. I love that there are discussions about "drugs" that can be intelligent, and does not entirely consist of "I don't know man, but I was fucked up" and such.

I have extensive experience with all of the common substances. This is meant as a qualifier and not braggadocio. I like to think that I know quite a bit about a wide range of psycho actives.

I love the forum and hopefully can relay some useful knowledge from my experiences and Google skills(lol).

Welcome to Bluelight psychopath.

I think you'll find that the majority of respected posters attempt to get their point across as eloquently as possible. You are on the mark about google being used to answer almost any question people have and is definitely how I gained most of my knowledge on different drug based topics. Still information on some of the more complex topics are better, or at least more efficiently, passed on by word of mouth through the forums as google seems to generate pages of "Answers.com" and equivalent sites which you have to sift through first. Google scholar is nice as well but individual studies are one view of the subject at best.

Anyways nice to have you aboard and I look forward to reading your posts.

Welcome again!

It's interesting you say that. I'm actually involved in a debate in the staff forum over whether Greenlighters post "quantity over quality" for their first 50 posts and ways to reduce the phenomena.

Your posts seem good so far. We are concerned with some people who get all their posts in a day or two before we have a chance to figure out what they are all about.

Welcome to Bluelight!! :)

Haha yes I'm not judging you or your posts and from what I see they are completely acceptable. I am just curious if you would have made all of them (especially the shorter ones) if you hadn't had the goal of reaching Bluelighter status. Hell for all I know it could be a good thing that people post more often even if lesser quality to reach 50 posts in that it encourages them to be a part of the site.

Lady finger, sorry but i am only posting in this topic because it is (i think) the latest post which you made and i am trying to contact you!

i tried to reply to your PM but this STILL comes up

Bluelight Message
Sorry, but you may only send Private Messages to members of staff until you reach Bluelighter status

this is the same problem i have had with trying to contact 'captain'

There must be a problem with greenlighters PM'ing even mods (or its just my account!)

No I think it's to do with these april fools shenanigans. I'll bring it up with an admin thanks for pointing it out. Here just post in this thread Greenlighters PMing staff with funky april fools names problem? if you want to PM me any more (although other people can read it). I think I explained your thread's situation pretty well though no? Respond in the other thread so we don't throw off psychopath's intro any more :)

Welcome fellow Southerner!!! i am just a state over-well i am on the GA/SC border so i am basically from GA as well..lol.
i also am challenged when it comes to typing, which is pitiful bc i am an English major...i have resigned myself to the face that i am going to have to find an online lesson and just learn...

oh,well-let me know if you need any help with anything...reply to me here and i will do my best to help you in any way i can.

Much peace and love..........................skillz<3
