I just registered and figured I'd introduce myself. I doubt I'll be posting very much but maybe I can help now and then.
I'm not really a drug user, other than a casual social drinker but some of my friends have indulged in various things so recently I started googling to get more information and understand better what was going on and I found bluelight. I'm also really interested in brain chemistry and how various chemicals can affect things and find that utterly fascinating
On the other side I live a pretty happy mostly sober life and have helped out people before who have been in a bad place mentally or otherwise. I'm very much a live and let live person and I really enjoy encountering different people with different life experiences from me and get a better perspective on how life can be.
One thing I find utterly hilarious though is that in the time since I first started lurking a bit here I had a weird plant turn up in my garden. I had no idea what it was until today when it finally flowered and I realised it's an opium poppy. Completely self seeded, there weren't any around last summer, it just turned up and only turned up after I started reading bluelight.
