Who am I ?

A middle aged tech dweeb that's losing hair but still has a mind that grows! I'm good at some sciences, except chemistry and calculus (oops). I will evaluate every idea I experience and dismiss nothing out-of-hand. Not gullible, just have antennas up. I'm also part time EMT and Ham Radio student.

Why am I here ?

I started browsing this board recently, stumbled on it via startpage search and was immediately impressed with the level of knowledge and civility. My kind of place!
