Greenlighter Reporting for Indoctrination

Hi,

I am kidding about indoctrination. I really like that Bluelight is low in groupthink. I've already been posting in The DarkSide and Philosophy&Spirituality but have been checking out many other parts of Bluelight. I am very interested in NA Social,
Psychedelic Drugs, Other Drugs, Sci & Tech, and Second Opinion. There are no parts of BL that disinterest me.

I wonder about something. Bluelight is a forum, but its constituent parts are also forums? I could substitute board , but again BL is a board and its components are boards? I bet you folk who have been around have better nomenclature in this regards.

Anyway, lots of cool stuff here, I can tell time spent figuring out this place will be well spent.:D

we tend to use the word forum to describe the individual discussion areas e.g. ecstasy discussion, film & television, etc.

while the word forum applies equally well to bluelight as a whole, a better umbrella term might be board or community?

I joined a few other boards at the same time I joined BL. I think smallish avatars and signatures turned off are really great decisions. I don't know why many other boards let their presentation get so cluttered and noisy.
