No more buying green onions at the store... grow them right in your home!
1) Buy green onions.
2) Cut the top half off so you have stalks that are about 3-5 inches.
3) Place them in a glass jar and fill it up with water (half way).
4) Put them something where there's a good breeze and some sunlight (indirect is ok).
As soon as you see the tips starting to turn brown, cut it off. I usually start cutting them when we reach 6 inches or so.
Also, don't don't forget to change the water! We only change it once a week or so.. maybe more than that. Super low maintenance.
