Thinking about making a bottle for christmas. There are previous threads but none are great. If you heat the weed at what temperature should it be done? For how long? Would 10 grams of indoor be a good amount and how long should it site?

heat in the microwave for like ~10 seconds for decarbolixation and then mix it with alcohol and after three weeks it starts working..afterwards the potency would increase...in relationship to 10 grams of indoor, I may suggest adding stems and leafs if no more quantity is near by

A bottle of liqour (grey goose in my case). THC is alcohol soluable so its possible to make a drink from weed with alcohol to get high and drunk at the same time.

dont heat. use everclear, the 190 proof if possible. put the bottle in a paper bag or cover with opaque tape or something like that. grind the weed as well as you can. let it sit in a cool dark place for at least a month, until you want it for christmas in your case. the more weed you use the less you have to drink to get high.

^na, you use heat to get thc to absorb into the lipid or alcohol. your link is just talking about curing; if the weed is cured it is ready--if you are buying youd be pissed if it wasnt cured. and if you are patient you dont really need high temps to get the thc to dissolve into the alcohol. putting it in a warm/hot place would reduce the amount of time you need to let things soak, but a cool place will likely help things not degrade during its long sit. i am reasonably confident preheating the weed before putting in the alcohol would just be silly. especially in the microwave.

If heat isn't needed, wouldn't you it be better to make oil then dissolve that in drinking alcohol? It'd be much quicker and more efficient, and you wouldn't end up with all the water soluble crap that's in normal green dragon.

it's another step, but yea it would probably taste cleaner and ensure that nothing was left in the plant matter. ive heard people say you should use saved up kief for reasons along those lines.

It's another step, but it means you can make it in a day, which would make it more appealing than waiting weeks or months for me.

^But if you don't heat it won't it be much less potent?

The only time you need to heat it is when you want to mix it with something fat soluble. i.e; Peanut Butter, Butter, or things likewise.
