Green Dragon, shelf life?

Hey I'm considering making the green dragon drink. My recipe will be as follows:

700mL Bicardi 151
1/8th bud
2 grams stem
approx 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of kief from my grinder.

My main concern is the shelf life of the thc in the alcohol as it isn't the cheapest drink and I would like to have it for some time.

So how long does the thc last after you filter out the plant product?
Also do you think my drink will be potent enough?

cannibis cookbook says many connoisseurs let their green dragon sit for a year or more so i think youre good for at least 1-2 years most thc is absorbed in a week letting it sit longer is more for taste.

Also it says use slightly more organic material than you would smoke to get high. if you overdo it you will just pass out never done this with green dragon but definitely ate brownies so strong it put 5 people to sleep in a couple of hours.

the problem with doing green dragon with good weed is that you need to microvawe the weed for a few seconds for decarbolyxaton or something like thatt.. google it
 
My friend has 12 bottles of green dragon "fermenting" at all times, so he share them once a year. He opens a bottle once month. But im pretty sure that you can open one after even just one month, im not sure though ill have to ask him.

I dont think you had to wait a whole year to make them ill repost let me call him
 
if you do it correctly you would enjoy it so much that shelf life wouldn't be a worrry...
 
Keep it away from light or heat. Wrap it in heavy plastic and keep it in the freezer and it should be cool for a long time. As for the potency thing, I would probably use quite a lot more than you intend to.
 
dont microwave your weed. do what yerg said, we used black electrical tape. I wouldnt put it in the freezer until after it has sat in a dark cool place for a month though. might work just as well if not better kept in freezer from start to finish, but im just saying what id do.

from what i read years ago when we did this, using 151 will cause the thc to decompose more quickly because of the water and other shit in there. the 190 proof grain alcohol is better.

i dont know how much you smoke, but i would make it a little stronger. maybe. depends what you want. if u wanna party and drink many shots of 151, then it's fine as is.
