Sounds logical, I mean, thc isn't water soluble and it should absorb some of the "flavors" and chlorophyll, just like any tea. But I would be a bit hesitant, myself, just because cold water is also used to seperate trichomes from buds (think bubble hash). Maybe if it soaked in lukewarm overnight with minimal agitation would be better?

But, then again, it's 90-95% alcohol, right? How much "nastier" can it get? ;-)
 
Update: a friend soaked close to 1 oz of trim and 1/2 oz of buds in the Spirytus for about 2 weeks. All chopped really well and put in Erlenmeyer flask and dark closet. 2-3 weeks later they took it out, added a little more chopped herb (buds) and "double-boiled it" on an electric hot plate with a pot of water, agitating the flask in the water for about 10 minutes. Then strained and bottled.

Resulting mixture tastes just like herb and vodka. Stains anything green, lips, countertops, etc. Mixes well but is a bit odd to drink at first. I figured 2 shots to be a good test. It is hard to notice at first, though. Is it the alcohol I feel? Or the weed? Or both? Definitely different. After 2 experiments it was determined that it is perceptible as weed, but with such strong alcohol, perhaps more weed is needed. I think I prefer to smoke it or eat it as cannabutter used for cooking, as I don't have to consume the alcohol along with it. I love my alcohol BUT I'd rather self-dose with each as needed.
 
I have made a few bottles of this useing a oz of low grade shake with 750ml of bacardi 151. I've let it sit for a few months and the stuff is really really potent. 1/2 a shot will get me, and anyone I've gave it to, high as hell.

My question is this: Is there anyway for me to let the 151 evaporate out, giving me hash? I know it would be easier if I had used something stronger than 151, but its to late for that. Any suggestions?
