Clearly explains how da has nothing to do with reward but that it does play a huge role in depression; this paper also supports my stand on the use of stimulants for depression or other issues with anhedonia; the tea with biscuits treatments dont cut it for that.

I didn't get that at all from this paper. DA is clearly implicated in the "wanting" of reward and at the very least in the downstream effects of the "liking" aspects of reward, as they are ostensibly mediated through opioidergic tone in the V. Striatum etc.

What in particular are you reading that gives you this impression?
