grams per 8-ball?

ok, my dealer told me theres 3-3 1/2 grams in an average "8-ball" for 100-120 bucks(coke) is he rippin me off or does that sound about right?

An 8ball of coke for $100-120 sounds remarkably cheap if you're in the US, though. Which probably means it's rerocked, cut to hell, and basically shit.
Remember, try before you buy. If you have the money but he won't let you try a line first, then he's trying to rip you off.

I have sold drugs before. 3.5 grams is correct. Depending on the baggie he uses 3.9 or 4.1.

I think we've already established that an 8 ball is 3.5 grams. It is easy math.
8 (or 1/ 8) ball = 1/z
28 / 8 = 3.5
if you're getting 4 grams your dealer is nice, or the coke isn't top shelf

That price is about average from where I am from, and you don't need to make assumptions that people get trash drugs.

oh yeah, another thing, most weigh with bag so that nothing gets on the calculator it's cleaner...weigh the bag first then product+bag=3.5+bag weight... not to tuff...

Why not just find a dealer that has a real scale that has a tare function. I wouldn't trust any cracked out dealer with math...

i haven't read all the posts, but i really hope someone has hit on the fact that "8 Ball" comes from the fact that it is an eighth ounce worth. 28grams/8grams=3.5grams.
