I would like to put a caption under some pictures for a web site I'm working on, and I would like to know which of these is correct:

Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

or

Thanks :)

Either works -- the second is just shortened, but not really incorrect.

I would go with the latter though because it is more concise, and sounds more like a command (not in a bad way) -- more imperative.

What about the last one and then say "Click on a picture", I mean, you can't click on all pictures at once.

Wow............

interesting topic LOL.

How about, to make a picture larger, click it. or Click picture to make larger.

the things people be worryin about....crazy

To be honest, I think the correct way is not putting anything cause most people if they want to see a larger version of a picture put their mouse over it and if it changes to a hand they'll click it.

A simple link below each image with "View larger image", "Enlarge Image" or "[Enlarge]" should suffice. clicking either the text link or the actual image should take the user to the enlarged image

"Click here" is redundant if the word is an obvious link; web surfers already know to click on links. If the link is not an obvious one, it ought to be made more obvious. "click here" doesn't stand out as much as the change in text styles used to denote a link (usually underline but occasionalyl a simple color change or bolding, or both like on BL)

Thank you for all the responses. This is for an ebay auction that I'm designing for a friend. All the photos are basically the same thing, so I'm not sure that I should put text under each one. I'm fine with all the code, but when it comes to aesthetics, I suck :D
