Google Maps Street View

Anyone ever mess around with this? It's pretty crazy. You can check out almost anywhere. Just last night I was walking around the streets somewhere in a Russian ghetto. All you have to do is bring up Google Maps and click on Earth View, then click somewhere on the map to make a checkpoint and then click Street View. You can also type in an address. It's like going on a real trip. lol

Sometimes you can come across some pretty interesting things...

yea, its incredible. if I were 10 I could see myself spending hours using it. You can now enter some buildings/restaurants, there is an underwater view and some guy is scouring the internet for public photos to create augmented-reality maps.

after maintenance..

I believe the guy that was working on photosynth.net for Microsoft is now at Google. Bing maps might have better aerial views..

I came across a lady doing the dope fiend lean outside a building that specializes in treating addicts. I thought about sending it to the website 'that-guys-on-heroin' but considered it indecorous, more so- a waste of time. I have a feeling it would have received a top score though, it was impressive..
 
Try typing geoguessr into the search engine, alasdair didn't link to the homepage.
 
Thanks I got it now. I just needed to sign up. Tried the first round and got all the continents right but I was off by about 1000 miles for each guess.
 
Lol these are awesome. I can't obviously show the pic but my uncles saw the google truck going by and my one uncle was in the garage on one side of their car and my other uncle pulled down his pants to moon them :P :P they are funny
