gooey meth

i have some speed that is all gooey - as opposed to dry/power/crystal. is there anyway possible to turn it into one of its drier forms, as listed above? i vaguely recall reading something about putting it in the oven, but was unable to relocate the article. i don't want to ruin my precious speed by experimentally baking it, so your advice would be great, thanks

Try this, get one of those packets that are in vitamin bottles, the ones that keep it dry. Tape it to the top of a small tupperware container and then put your meth inside the container. It should dry it out throughtly.
 
im pretty sure your meth is oily, so evaporating it probably isn't possible... you could try an acetone wash, that would strip the meth from all of the other junk.
Just get a glass and a coffee filter, put meth on filter in the glass and pour acetone over it.

It's likely leftover hydrochloric acid from the A/B extraction done during the purification process at the end of a meth synthesis....an acetone wash would work perfectly. You can get acetone at hardware stores...take your meth and put it in a coffee filter (which you should place in a funnel or something like that), then pour some (cold- refrigderate it) acetone over your meth (maybe do 2-3 rinses with the acetone)...the impurities will be washed away and your clean shiny meth crystals will be left in the coffee filter. Take out the meth and spread it out to air dry for several minutes...and then you should have nice dry crystals.
 
thanks for your advice. i was hoping for a none chemical way to dry it out - the vitamin trick didn't work. I am too scared to start messing around with chemistry as i am of a clumsy nature. I have taken some of it orally instead. I know how you are a big fan of the oral method of ingestion fairnymph and you are right - it is a very nice experience. thankyou all, but just to double check, baking it in the oven really wont work?
- with the acetone method, could i attempt it with just a small amount such as 1g or would this be a waste of time?
 
I would just do what fairnymph suggested. The process sounds complicated but it really isn't. This process is your best bet and if you try it you will be happy with the results. Goodluck...
