It hasn’t rained yet
thunder cracks the skies
of a world that threw us out
and told us hope wasn’t
ever going to be enough
to let us breathe
and be free

so hopeless tonight
laying here, in my crazy mind
destroying what is left
of a girl who broke
the truth and the lies
and the spirits of all those guys
because she couldn’t let herself
be what they wanted
and when she tired
it just gave way

and its pouring now
rain falls onto our footsteps
covering up a path
that led us to this life
making it impossible
for us to leave
in the here and now
where I try to be the person
that I am

cold now, trees shivering
shaking out fresh spring leaves
that came to late this to me
faded by these times
where we don’t know
what going to happen next
and somehow I think
I’m blinded by this life

to all the ones I hurt
and to all the lives destroyed
by the words I bled
from my open mouth
im on my knees tonight
and if somehow I could be free
of the pain I feel, so hard
heart’s going to be broken
for awhile
because I deserve this hell
and I’m never leaving
now, no, no I can’t

trapped here, trapped here
let me breathe
so that maybe
today could be a new
and then we'd see
that life's not just a game
but a chance to hope in
what is always been hopeless
and capture dreams in tin boxes
now that we can say goodbye
to yesterday

omg.. you are too good sometimes, there is now turning back, ever.. no matter what you do, thats why you have to make descisions, and be prepared, for no matter what the outcome, that it was the path you chose, the path doesnt end there, keep going.. make new footprints.. even if they disappear again, you will always remember where you were, but you know never know where you can/will go.
