i rolled for the last time this past weekend. it just isnt worth it anymore, the negative effects, they are the devil. there is way too beutiful of a life out there without the use of mdma. i just wish i would haverealized this three years ago and saved myself all the sleepless nights and agaonizing days. im changed forever now and there is nothing i can do besides quit and lead a healthy happy life so here i go. goodbye xtc, fairwell, and good luck.

anybody else feelin me???

Not really D:
I'm still going at it. I mean I believe if I do it in moderation and wait til I recover my seretonin and whatever else and not abuse it then I can still enjoy it as much as possible. Of course thats your decision and I still respect that so good luck on having a sober life man, cheers!

Yeah.. kinda..

It's been easily over a year since i last properly took MDMA.. probably about 2?

I then got into mephedrone.. but hey.. its been a while since then..

Then speed (again).. but hey.. its been a few months since then.. ;)

At the moment though.. my mental health is definately improving.. funny how it coincides with my drug use decreasing :\

Good luck man.

I have a very minor comedown & hangover when I roll so I see no reason to stop, but if yours are pretty bad I totally understand why you want to quit. Good luck.

Question. Did you decide to do this wit just x or everything. wat other drugs do you do if any

Yeah.. you might wanna stay away from similar drugs (like mephedrone, methylone, etc) and amphetamines.. they all just added to my problems and made em ALOT worse.

I've never really felt strong effects from a comedown on ecstasy.. I've felt much worse for way longer drinking alcohol. I feel better than ever after taking ecstasy, I fiend for it after a couple months when i'm "back to normal". Of course being and eating healthy helps how you feel on a day to day basis, so alot of that helps. Also don't say your changed forever from ecstasy, there is too many factors in consideration from 3 years ago to now, to say one thing changed all that. Good luck and much respect for going sober.

Nice decision your heading on a good road now. I took a year off rolling and just rolled this Saturday with only 2 tested clean pills. It is now Tuesday and im still feeling off and very very weak and tired even though i got a ton of rest. I can definitely feel the negative effects, and they are the devil. I may keep it to like 3 times a year or so, or may even say good bye E i really don't know at this point. But good luck to you, your brain will be thanking you thats for sure.

First time quitting? If yes, remember where it left you when you took it too far cause if you ever start up again, you'll be way less likely to let it get that far outta hand again.

I'm sorry it had to go that way. I've found the after effects to be milder each time I've done mdma, but I've also been doing pure molly, 4 weeks apart at least. If I did have a time that it just didn't seem to do it, there would be a long break in order.

Go eat three good meals, get a good night's sleep, and go ask an MRI studio to image your brain. I'll put my money on "just fine".

And how do you know that, he said 3 years of rolling which could mean 3 years of weekly or even monthly rolling which is a lot. Let him lead his healthy life now, because i would put money on not just fine. Maybe alright but there has definitely been some axon terminals destroyed, and lower serotonin levels which take months of recovery time to get back. What are you trying to do, get him to change his decision and get him back on mdma? You do not know your stuff, im sorry.

i feel you. i made that decision a year ago cos MDMA is really really bad for your health. when i think about all the MDMA ive taken, it makes me sick.

If you need to say goodbye, say goodbye....

I always say my favorite part of rolling is remembering it afterwards- the beautiful parts, the joy, the clarity, lack of fear, lack of ego. Once you've experienced that, I feel it's always a part of you. Stay connected to that.

Plenty of people who post on bluelight haven't rolled in years- and who knows, maybe somewhere down the road, it will be something you'll revisit should you want to. Chances are it will feel amazing too.

im going to try to answer tyhe majority of your questions hare at once.

first off thanks for the positive feedback it is definitely helpful. this is not my first time quitting but i can say this is the real time. when i first started rolling three years ago it was every weekend which soon led to very bad side effects so i quite for 3 months and then started again but much more reasponsiblly. the thing is the adverse effects did not lessen and i began to notice a little thing called anxiety which i had never experienced before mdma use. also just to let you guys know i had a three month break before this past weekend. also the pills were tested and clean pokeballs. about other drugs, i do norcos but quit that too, thats another story just as bad. other than that im a clean man. i have my medical marijuana card and smoke every single day but i would never contribute that to the way im feeling now.

again thanks for the support bluelight peeps!

Good luck socal! Like everyone else said in the thread, keep close all those rolling memories that can help change your life for the positive and try to implement them the best as possible.

Posts like this certainly make me extremely aware of the dangers of this drug if you abuse it!

I say this with a smile, and maybe call me cynical or call me someone who has had a lot of experience with E: as long as you call E beloved I'll venture to say that you aren't finished with it and you'll be back. It might be days or months, but after the come down and after effects are over - that irresistible pull of the pleasure of MDMA will come back to call at you and you'll forget the come down and everything that makes you swear you'll never touch it again in those immediate days and weeks after you use. I can't count anymore the number of times I've sworn I'll never touch E again, and I've finally come to realize that it's probably there for the rest of my life. As I age, using it becomes less and less and it doesn't call out to me very often but it still does call from time to time. :-)
