I'm searching for an overview of neurophysiology of addiction - a detailed picture of how brain reward system works and how that working changes due to addictive drugs. It sounds easy, but I have trouble finding something that is at the same time up-to-date, detailed (not just saying that it's all about dopamine level in nucleus accumbens, but also explaining the role of other neurotransmitters and other structers, like prefrontal cortex), and easy to read for someone who is not already very familiar with this topic. It doesn't have to be a journal article, but I need something accessible online (obviously).
Perhaps someone here has come across a text like that and can help me out.
