good dose of oxy for a first timer?

My friend's dad had a surgery botched on his foot, so he has an oxy scrip. I was wondering what would be a good insuffilated (sp) dose for a first timer. I'm basically an opiate/opioid virgin, no real tollerance to speak of. Oh an one other thing, he's selling it for $0.50 per miligram, is that a reasonable price? Thanks.
