I just recently read on another site that ibuprofen enhances the effects of xanax significantly. That sounds mighty strange, kinda in the realm of bull shit. The only thing that made me give it a second thought is that it was on a very reputable sight, kind of the gold standard for drug info and experiences. The person swore that 400 mg of lbuprophen greatly increased his experience
.Has anyone heard of this or had any experience with it?
I've used that combination countless times, in dosages of Advil (Ibuprofen) ranging from 200 to 800 mg and Xanax (Alprazolam) dosages ranging from 0.25 to 2.00 mg.
Not once do I recall an enhanced effect related to the six or so typical benzodiazepine effects in a therapeutic and/or recreational setting (sedative, hypnotic, amnesiac, muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, anti-convulsant), but that's just me.
You may have noticed that I did not mention euphoria as one of the typical/desired benzodiazepine effects.
As someone who has been prescribed Xanax for nearly 9 years, I have never found it to produce any feelings of well-being (or euphoria). This may be due to the fact that I suffer from Panic Disorder, but I don't know for sure.
There have been situations where I was able to quickly halt an incoming panic attack by eating some Xanax. While the feeling of calmness overpowering a very uncomfortable sensation of severe anxiety manifesting into a massive panic attack is indeed a huge relief, I would not say that it qualifies as euphoria.
Be that as it may, I must once again stress that my experiences and opinions on the matter are my own. And as such, it's certainly possible that another individual in my position may experience orgasmic-intensity euphoria when consuming Xanax (Alprazolam).
Hopefully my post didn't end up leaving you with more questions than answers.
Adios amigo - I don't wanna keep my waffles waiting.
