*Good-Bye*
Why is it you hate me?
What did I do?
Was it something I said?
What was it that offended you?
We used to have late night talks,
While on long, almost endless walks.
But somehow I pushed you away.
What did I say?
Our friendship was a joke,
Was it ever really there?
Now I can see, all those times you were lying,
You just pretended to care.
But to me it meant something,
I thought it was true.
I guess wishfull thinking
Just wouldn't do.
Times have changed,
We've both gone on.
That thing we called friendship,
Has long since been gone.
When I see you now,
You can't even say hi,
What was I did that I don't deserve a
good-bye?
I guess you just hate me,
And I guess thats ok.
But unlike you,
I can say two words before I just walk away.
*The person this was written for will probably never see it, but if you do, I wanted to let you know you lost something very rare...a true friend.*

oh hun, I am sorry that someone you called a friend walked away! glad you could put into words it does help alittle.
And yes they lost a something very precious but hold your head up high cause you are important and i am sure you did nothing wrong.

Thanks Cherub, the person I wrote this about I thought was one of my best friends, we spent alot of time hanging out, going places....then little by little he just stopped coming over, stopped calling.......now I barely see him, or talk to him...I don't exactly know what happened.....I don't think it was anything I did...but I don't think I'll ever know...
