I'm not too sure if this is the right forum or not, but I have a question about Alcohol.
Goldschlager:
Do the gold flakes 'actaully' cut your throat allowing the alcohol to get into your bloodstream faster? I have heard a lot of people say this, and I keep thinking it is total bullshit, the flakes don't look sharp, hard, or big enough.
 
I heard a similar urban legend about coke a few years ago... about how they put crushed up pieces of glass in coke so that it makes tiny cuts in your nose to allow better absorption. That would be a really aweful cut, but there are some stupid motherfuckers out there. I know this guy who use to sell dope when he was a kid in Newark. He cut his dope with crushed up sheet rock powder!
 
I've always heard that a lot of drugs are cut with powdered glass and brick dust. Its just sounds like a lot of fucking trouble to go to in my mind when you could just walk into a shop and buy some glucose or something like that.
 
there is still glass cut coke circulating in london, if you can find it. the theory is that lacerating your membranes enables faster uptake. the reality is lots of nosebleeds.
 
Probably came from the fact that they put small amounts of fiberglass in chewing tobacco, to aid in absorbtion..
