Benzos Going to doctor in hopes of getting Xanax.

I legitimately need Xanax or some sort of drug to help with Anxiety but I'm worried and confused with what I should say to my doctor. I've been to my doctor before for both depression and anxiety which ended up with just an SSRI. After I returned I got some SSRI samples and a small bottle of Xanax... I'm going back this week but I'm a bit worried as I haven't returned to my doctor for the depression and Anxiety for about two months so he may have doubts.

When I go and see him I'm going to tell him about how I have trouble with a lot of things because of my anxiety and I'm going to tell him I'm done with SSRI's as they suck balls. After that I'll just straight up ask him to treat my anxiety with something that actually works, like Xanax, as the SSRI's don't help with shit. If he does go for it than I also have to tell him the .25's aren't enough... I just don't think he'll go with treating me with Xanax as I'm 18 and look like a drug user so I bet it's hard to take what I say seriously.

Does anybody have alternative advice? I'm really just not sure how to go about asking my doctor to try and treat for anxiety with xanax or something similar. I really don't want to see my doctor and then make a fool of myself asking for drugs, haha. If this post is in the wrong place than I apologize.

I'm not planning on abusing it jerk. I've tried Xanax before and the high was terrible but when used normally it helps me.

What he was saying is this type of thread (i.e. what do I say to my doctor to get <insert drug here>) is not allowed here.

The best advice we can give is to just be honest with your doctor.
