Gluttons for Punishment

You have a gift for completely missing the fucking point.

Oh the irony.

The fact is [that?] dealing drugs in a bad neighborhood, regularly, without a gun is suicide.

rofl Do you seriously hear yourself? THEN PICK ONE OF THE OTHER 1 MILLION POSSIBLE CAREER PATHS.

Now if you don't believe people should die for breaking the law or dealing drugs, how can you support that law? Just because it's a "rule we need for society"? How will a drug dealer living another day threaten society?

I miss points? How can you not manage to be able to distinguish between: legalization & felonious acts with firearms? Can you grasp this concept? Currently, selling pounds of pot is felonious.

What if he pulls his gun and shoots some crazy fuck trying to kill him, will our society collapse?

Do you understand that it is "the crazy fuck" trying to kill people that this law intends to target and hopefully either a) disuade him from bringing his gun to that drug deal in the first place or b) already been used to seperate this individual from society. The guy in the original article, was being fucking FILMED selling drugs, right? What a brilliant individual. I'm sure there are a lot of families of dead cops that will protest right along side of you 'advocates for arming criminals'. Oh wait, let me guess, cops are all scum and should die, right? American Police Officers are the modern-day equivalent to the GESTAPO, I know 8(. What a joke.

But one thing interesting about it is that you're so concerned about everyone being given a gun. Well, anyone who really wants a gun can get one now.

Yes, and people who have demonstrably shown that they're responsible enough to own one, that don't go around shooting people for no reason, don't bring them to drug deals, don't rob banks with them, they get to keep their guns to protect themselves from the FUCK OFF'S like you. That's the way it is, probably the way it always will be, and if you don't like it, GET THE FUCK OUT OF AMERICA or work to actively change the law. :D

I think people should be charged with using a gun in a crime if they actually, y'know, USE THE GUN IN THE CRIME.

No grey area, sorry. Black and white. Drug dealers while dealing, people under the influence of drugs, and people who commit felonies don't get to make decisions that CAN POSSIBLY endanger the life's people who do. It's called "law and order". It's an important piece of having a functional "society". It's a necessity.

When you give some guy a speeding ticket and he has a gun on him they don't charge him with speeding with a gun (gasp) and put him away for the rest of his life. It's seperate charges

Ok, now I do have to inquire as to your age. You understand the difference between a speeding ticket and a f e l o n y, right? You understnad that, in Washington, up to 40 grams (slightly over an ounce) of pot is NOT a felony, right? Most states have similiar guidelines.

Distorted, I applaud you. I'm not quite sure you realize it, but you've just single handedly validated another extremely relevant point in regard to drug dealing in conjuction with guns.

But you can't use a gun to sell drugs. You can use it to mug someone, you can use it shoot someone, you can use it to threaten someone,
but those are all completely seperate crimes.

:D Congratulations.

why are people 'ganging up'?

let's see what Chemical Beauty has to say about other posters on bluelight, from this thread alone. bear in mind he 'started it' with a 'fuck off' to someone else; of course, all of his other posts have been edited - presumably to remove the countless ad-homs that littered this thread.

i'm also interested in this post from the first page, it sounds familiar;

And how original: "I'd engage in debate, but ...." [my argument holds no water]

Yeah, that's the answer. No more drug dealers, no more drug use, no more bluelight. Good call.

The word "felony" means nothing to me. It's not a concept people guilty of only selling drugs and defending themselves should lose their life over.

No. The mugger doesn't have any drugs on him. He's not selling the drugs. He's not the one being targeted by this law. It only makes it easier for him to go out and kill people and take their money.

The families of dead cops can go fuck themselves. The only good cop is a dead cop.

Yeah, the only people who can get guns are responsible people who use them for protection. You just live in your own little fantasy world that you dreamed up in front of your computer one day, don't you?

No grey area, sorry. Black and white. Drug dealers, drug users and people who commit felonies don't get to make decisions that CAN POSSIBLY endanger the life's people who do. It's called "law and order". It's an important piece of having a functional "society". It's a necessity.

That's the problem.

Law and order? What a joke.

I'm 18.

Yeah, I undestand the difference. The difference begins and ends in the eyes of the law. It means nothing to the rest of us, other than how long we'll get locked up by the pigs. It's not proportionate to the amount of wrong done.

Look at it this way. Who's endangering people's lives more, the guy who blows through a school zone goin 80 or the pot dealer who carries a gun so he can shoot someone who trys to mug him?

Distorted, I applaud you. I'm not quite sure you realize it, but you've just single handedly validated another extremely relevant point in regard to drug dealing in conjuction with guns.

Yeah, but right along wth that goes self defense. And if the person hasn't commited any of the crimes I mentioned, they shouldn't be punished for what they MIGHT have done.

The truth is anyone with half a brain can tell this law's unjust. When you can go to prison for dealing drugs longer than you can go for rape, murder, child molestation, aggravated assault etc etc then the law is clearly fucked up and should be changed.

Seuss: It amazes me that these are the types of people and opinions you're sticking up for and agreeing with. Have you gone mad?

Also, your last post, says that I "started it" [name calling / adhoms].
Dr. Seuss, you actually have a mental handicap if you're incapable of going to the FIRST reply (from 'liquidvision' calling me an 'idiot') after my INITIAL REPLY to this thread, and seeing THE VERY FIRST AD HOM IN THIS THREAD IS DIRECTED TOWARDS ME. The 2nd direct insult in this thread is THEN initiated by the laughing stock of the century, futuramike, saying something along the lines of "you disgust me, you're lucky I'm holding myself back". 8( I'll happily admit, that once the ad homs started flowing, I jumped RIGHT into it, which is wrong. However, I "begun" nothing. Any 10yr old capable of comprehending simple sentence structure (which shouldn't be asking too much from a moderator) can see that. Do you even bother with the details? Or are you just trying to persuade someone who hasn't read the whole thread to believe what you want them to believe? I think you're a fucking joke, pal. Straight up. A fucking joke.

Distortion. You disgust me. Try and enjoy your freedom while here on earth, because it won't last long. With your attitude, you'll be dead or in jail in no time. :\

Oh, here's an interesting point in the original article
Prosecutors initially told Angelos that if he pleaded guilty to marijuana distribution and one count of carrying a gun, they would recommend a sentence of 15 years. After he turned down that deal, they filed a new indictment with a total of 20 charges, including five gun offenses that by themselves exposed him to a mandatory minimum sentence of 105 years.

and it amazes me how quickly you're able to leap away from the issues and desparately attempt to link my posts on the article with someone else's viewpoint :D

I think you're a fucking joke, pal. Straight up. A fucking joke.

i will admit,

i am laughing.

=D
