Global Drug Use Map

Thanks! Crowdsourced data has consistently proven to be the most accurate, just compare wikipedia or the stockmarket to some survey given to a hundred random people completely devoid of context.

This is kinda dumb. What did you do just guess how much stuff cost and why is it only for Coke, weed and XTC? just delete that page man, its useless. not trying to be mean but seriously where'd you get your info?

It says on the page that I got it from havoscope, webehigh and googling different sources like UN drug reports and newspaper articles. Furthermore I fully admit that the prices are approximations, I don't trust any of these sources to be fully accurate. I want people to TELL ME how much the drugs cost in different places and I'll update the map so that the prices are correct. I only listed cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy because these three drugs alone make up a large part of the drug economy and culture and I don't particularly want to document the price of more anti-social drugs like crystal meth or heroin.

I like the map keeping in mind that it's rough estimates that don't take regional disparities within a country into account. At least it allowed me to see that coke is friggin' expensive in Russia compared with most countries. I wonder if this is due to high demand or limited/monopolized supply?

There are always going to be some regional disparities, I would like this map to reflect the price in the capitals for ordinary people. Cocaine is expensive in Russia because it is very far from Colombia where cocaine comes from so lots of people have to get paid for every border the coke crosses, but don't worry they have lots of synthetic drugs in Russia for people to get high with :D

I can testify that $30/g for coke doesn't apply to Kansas City, and by far. I guess closeness to the Mexican border affect prices in a major way. On a different note I am always surprised that pot is always cheaper up in Canada than here, and of better quality. They must be growing a lot of quality crops in in all those empty spaces they have, I hear the west coast has perfect climate for it: wet and mild winters, sunny warm summers should yield several lush crops a year. Plus they have medical marijuana production as well. I spend 5 months a year in Canada, too bad I don't smoke pot lol But they also have better RC's and that I do appreciate.
