Glass syringes

Do you know anyone who actually uses those things? My friend said his friend has a kit with a glass syringe w/ a detachable head.
Anybody know anything about this? Sounds like a pain in the ass to me.

ASHKE! Oh my god, my girlie, you're back.. it seems like it's been FOREVER!
Anyway - glass rigs... more or less they are collectors items, not to be used... you can find TON of them on eBay ...
I have a few nice sets myself...

You can sterilize them (boiling water or autoclave), but it would be easier to use disposables. The detachable needle probably uses a luer-lock fitting which gives you a lot of gauge options. They're best used for injecting meats with marinades.

Oh, you shouldn't even entertain the idea of using these for IV use.. they are show items really.. if you want to inject, spend $20 for a box of 100 "Ultra fines" ..
