ah i was about to cap em up tonight but i think ill save myself the effort this being the case. Ill bring some vit c instead and piracetam for the k heads.

Ive got a flat stove. And ive just spent 3 quid on my food as im skint. Which bought me a kilo of cous cous and enough dried veg and dry soy mince to go with it. Little bag of spice and stock to go too so i wont go hungry and food was extorionate from stalls last year! In fact was does a meal get me in terms of swapsies?

I don't think it was, at least not any more so than other festivals.

Plus it was a lot nicer choice wise than other places - no minging burgervans.

The cous cous stall was amazing - a huger dollop of cous cous & three generous portions of various salads (roasted veg, cold curried stuff etc) for a fiver and that easily fed two!

^ I just bought olives from them. I love olives.

The twat camped next to us spent 20 quid 'trying out' different breakfasts then just chucking out the ones he didnt fancy. Cunt.

Ahh look at all you lucky bastards planning for glade.

bah humbug :P

Thats the point. Cant really afford even a fiver a day. Plus id rather sip wine round my stove with the bluelight crew than hussle in a queue! You havent sampled my cous cous yet anyhow!

Don't know if you've ever been to a wet festival before but it's well worth doing a bit more preparation because you'll have a lot more fun and stand far less chance of coming back feeling ill!

Take:
Cagoul/light waterproof jacket/poncho - folds down into nothing and keep you dry-warm!
Wellies - Tie them to the outside of your pack. They are an absolute MUST if it's going to be muddy... Save you getting all your clothes/shoes fucked!
Warm hoodie - Keep warm at night if needed
Hat - you nver know - If it's sunny you can keep your head cool and at night warm it up again!

:)

Oh - and take lots of binbags to put all yor muddy stuff in on the way back :)

Cheers.

I quite like the idea of a poncho. :o

You sorted train/phone at all yet?

That is pretty fine, i seem to remember mine arriving very late after a farce with the recorded delivory system and me constantly being out the year before.

I haven't done any drugs or even been out properly for over a year. I think I'm going to explode with excitement! :D

YGPM

dont think i've seen anyone mention bring a torch + batteries as en essential. I for one have enough trouble navigating my legs around guy ropes without it being pitch black. Also won't be wanting to repeat the mistake of taking a gulp from a water bottle containing vodka instead of the water bottle containing water, in the middle of the night, as i did at Leeds fest once.

^ Or worse than that the mainy plastic bottles with varying mixtures of GBL and water lying around. A marker pen might be an idea too. Not sure what for but cant hurt.
