Need I say more %)

haha mmm, is that a scotch egg i spy at the bottom?

I'm scared

Are people taking summer or winter gear? I've only been thinking about taking shorts, t-shirts, a hoody, flip flops etc. Are people actually taking winter stuff? I don't even own a coat. :o

Need to get a rucksack too.

How the fuck are you meant to take wellies? surely they'd need a rucksack each?

I'm taking summer clothes and trekking boots. I don't think it will be all that cold, just wet.

take at least one warm top though (as well as rain gear), like a hoody. It gets surprisingly cold at night - even if the day is hot.

I want my trusty hoody for night time, but if it rains I'll have it on aswell, bywhich time it will be soaking at night.

Might get a more waterproof jacket tommorow, or just deal with being cold.

I'm taking an embarassing hoody from when i was 15....coupla t-shirts, jeans, shorts and some lighter pants. Sandles, the shoes i'm wearing (battered DM's) and thats it. But wellies there if needed. Oh and a water proof i've nicked off my dad (height of festy fashion...clearly).

Taking a hoodie incase it rains is silly because hoodies are shit for keeping you dry and you'll be soakin. If it's raining the best best is wearing shorts, anything else just sticks to you really, a t-shirt and some cheap poncho, I bought one for like £3 at T. Even if it rains it's guarenteed to be warm so the poncho will keep you dry without making you too warm. A hoodie for night might be a good idea just incase it gets too cold.

And surely buying wellies there is the best idea, they're a cunt to carry and you might not actually need them.

Aye the hoody is for late night/early morning when it's cold. It's got a shit design and it's covered in tab burns for every festy i've been to.

I have wellies, walking boots, trainers, flip-flops, kagoul and bikini =D

For food - camping stove, long life milk, porridge, canned fruit, cereal bars, Slimfast shakes/smoothies and energy drink powder.

Don't know if you've ever been to a wet festival before but it's well worth doing a bit more preparation because you'll have a lot more fun and stand far less chance of coming back feeling ill!

Take:
Cagoul/light waterproof jacket/poncho - folds down into nothing and keep you dry-warm!
Wellies - Tie them to the outside of your pack. They are an absolute MUST if it's going to be muddy... Save you getting all your clothes/shoes fucked!
Warm hoodie - Keep warm at night if needed
Hat - you nver know - If it's sunny you can keep your head cool and at night warm it up again!

:)

Oh - and take lots of binbags to put all yor muddy stuff in on the way back :)

Or wear your wellies!

A little first aid kit is handy too -
Platers
Painkillers
Antihistamine
Antiseptic wipes / cream

Stuff like that will always help.

Also, for those who wont be showering, wet wipes & antibacterial hand stuff is good!

^yes yes, there nothing worse then running out of that!

Another festie essential is wet wipes! And a towel!!! And LOADSA spare socks!

Packets of tissues are better. If you drop a bogroll in there it's lost, but you can afford to drop a packet of tissues cos you only lose 10 or so.

True - I think I had a pocket pack last year - will see if I have any lying around.

Although normally I'd just pull a load off the roll & stuff it in my bag / pocket.

As for suncream, meer, might only bring one, and no aftersun.

Boo-hoo!
