I followed the whole palava on gladtalk as well and seriously thought it would be cancelled. Thank fuck for that!

I read through all the crap the organisers had to go through. Putting on a festival is not as easy as I thought.
Ive ordered two tickets and my order number was 3900 odd so get buying.

I'm shocked and offended i'm not first on the list of those going glading - i was first on BL to buy!
 
can everyone like tell us their order numbers when they post they've got tickets so i can get an idea of how many tickets are left. Won't be buying til the loan arrives monday, or hopefully it appears slightly early.
 
man, they are selling quickly. I suspect that's over 1/2 the tickets sold already.


NOTE: They tend to hold back a couple of hundred or so til a month before the event to "tout bust" - so even if you don't have the money now, you might still be ok. I wouldnt risk it myself...
 
what you reckon the capacity is this year then dude?? I thought it was gonna be a fair bit bigger this year?

They applied for 16.5k - council said no, so the capacity is reduced to 12.5k - same as last year.

And on friday i stayed til 2:30 then went home. Got too much work for late ones. Shouldnt really have gone out at all!
 
12.5K is just right!! glad its the same as last year, that was a nice number of people :)



thought you may have left early, did have a looksee around for you :) You missed technohead, I wanna be a hippy at 5:30am.....worth the ticket money alone!! lol
 
Yeah, i think 12.5k is about right!

Oh and people, a mate of mine just booked. Booking no 4700! [7:30pm wednesday]. They appear to be FLYING out - i wouldnt expect there to be many [any] by the weekend!
 
Soorryy folks, Haribo has the choice of USA to be with Getreal or this festival &, much a I want to see you all (and thanks for the offer of a lift, Zoph!), Haribo must spend time with his lady, right? Or we will both go mad...
I wanna see LOADS of pictures, mind. I will be judging them and the winner will recieve a small prize of questionable taste... details to be confirmed.
 
I can't decide whether or not to go now.
Commercial Hippies will be there, though, so am tempted, but will have to see.
Maybe if there are still tickets when next payday comes around, I'll take that as a sign.
