Glade 2006

I tried the 'wrong card number' technique, but they wern't really having any of it this year but hey will give you a week or so grace.

what do you mean by this, just that my lady isn't gonna be able to properly afford one til a week on friday! :\

Basically from when you book the tickets you will get 5 days to sort out any banking difficulties, this was written in a auto email. I spoke to a very kind lady on the phone and informed her that I will need to get my bank to send out a new card which may take over a week. She said she will put something down in my notes and everything should be peachy.

And I'm gonna have to steal me a tent!!


But I just know it will be sooooooo worth it!! Gonna book off 2-3 days recovery time too!
 
Rasclatt I deserve a malleting. I may have mucho egg on my face as I have yet confimed but merely reserved my tickets. Tomorrow I will go and raid the premium bonds to pay for my hedonistic 4 day jaunt.

Tinrib, last year I went at it hammer and tongs at Glade and we left on the Monday, I got home about 7ish and started a new job on the tuesday at 8.30am

How I would have loved some days to piece together the jigsaw puzzle that was my brain.

This is an accurate depiction on my general state all week at work

Heh, heh, I was exactly the same.

I can honestly say that I pushed my body & mind to limits that I never knew existed.......& then went down the rabbit hole a little bit furthur still. By Sunday evening I was completely & utterly decimated, destroyed, demolished & utterly done for.

Walked through the door of my mum's house on Monday evening, she took one look at me & said "So, you managed to get hold of some good acid then?". =D

Fuck me that was a good festival. Best 4 days of my life without question.

To anyone umming & ahhing over whether to go : if it's even half as good as it was last year it will be unforgettable. Sell your grandma, pawn your pants, do whatever it takes. Just go.

It's the festival air. You just get so caught up in the whole atmosphere of hedonism that surrounds you, that it renders resistance utterly futile.

Did anyone have trouble ordering their ticket yesterday? I dont have a credit card or a visa debit card so I had to use my mates and for some reason they kept being rejected..gutting
 
I might be going if I can be certain I'll have money for then. Or might try class it as an early birthday pressie :D

Right. Im going. After mulling it over for a weekend I decided I just cant miss this one....

Its my graduation on the friday, so I'll be driving up saturday lunchtime.... I'll miss the friday night shenanigans so some one save me some drugs and a space for my tent!!!!!

What better way to celbrate passing (hopefully) or comiserate failing (hopefully not!) my degree!!!!!

I'm up for going but i doubt i'll be able to get the money in time, my account is fucked at the minute. Should hopefully be starting a new job soon, but it may be too late :(
 
i don't think i'm gonna go now.. £108 is way too much.. and it'll cost loads more with food etc..
I may go to Sonica in Italy instead, if i'm gonna pay that much for a festival, i'd rather go further afield for it! more of an adventure :)

^^Agreed! Who wants to start up a Sonica crew instead? Cheaper, more of an adventure and you'd get a nice chunk of change left over for all the nice goodies.

Boo for glade prices though. Compare it to other psy festivals around the world and you'll see how ridiculous the prices are!
