Opioids Ginger extract prevent opioid tolerance/WD ?

Anyone with the full text checked how they administered the ginger? Was it orally?

It was administered by intragastric gavage (syringe feeding) which is practically same as orally. Rats don't eat strong plant extracts voluntarily...

It was mentioned in another paper that you need a kilogram of dry ginger powder to make 30 grams of extract.

Yes, it does, and so does the search engine.

NMDA antagonists appear to work great for short term tolerance (ie: a weekend or so binge), but there are a lot of other mechanisms at play. MeD really did his homework on that one lol.
I looked at blocking epigenetic changes, VMAT2 distribution, and various mitochondrial antioxidants in my amphetamine thread. But, my favored approach of using curcumin (from a plant much like ginger) only produced a 9/21 positive response rate. If the active constituent in the ginger extract is a phenolic it probably has poor bioavailability, and to top that off it more bioavailable in rats than humans.
