Gibberings Episode CCIV - A New Hope

What's up with it? I knows a thing or two about gas boilers, having worked on the electrohic control boards of a few. Even the old permanent pilot ones are often fixable (but seriously, don't bother, get one with electronic ignition and it will soon pay for itself in gas saved.)

If your home is heated by a Glow-Worm Micron, the motherboard in that is all mine .....

It's sorted now thank you Julie, it just refused to ignite for hours. Turned the water temperature dial down to zero and after a bit of a struggle it returned to functionality.
I need a resident Julie-Boo for the next time I see something remotely mechanical and run away. <3

If it sparks for about ten seconds with no flame, then shuts off and requires a power cycle, that usually means poor gas supply, so you might need to get your pipes checked. Or turn off the supply at the fuse box, whip the front off the boiler and make sure the spark gap is between 3.5 and 4.5 mm. The electrode can erode. If it sparks, ignites but refuses to sense a flame and goes into sulk anyway, try cleaning the sense electrode and its ceramic insulator with alcohol. Reassemble the boiler completely before reapplying power.

'Reassemble the boiler completely' - Julie, I can just about reassemble a bacon sandwich if you removed the top slice of bread. =D

'See, like in all the Fallouts, you can get a dog companion. And like in all the Fallouts, people will attack that dog companion. And like in all the Fallouts, when that happens, I lose my shit and butcher everything around me. But this is too much: The dog is a bit too real, and the animations when people attack that dog are vastly improved. It used to be that enemies would punch in the general direction of your dog, visually appearing to miss by a good three feet because there was no special animation for dog punching. And it still hurt my feelings.

But forFallout 4, Bethesda apparently hired a dog-punching motion-capture division -- just a bunch of sociopaths in green suits beating the shit out of puppies to observe their reactions -- because you can now see every skull-shattering crack as raiders beat your beloved pup into the ground. And I can't take it. I used to travel with the dog companion often -- just me and my dog against the end of the world, because dogs don't judge you when you drink out of an irradiated toilet. They just wait their turn. But no more. As soon as the option was available, I sent Dogmeat out to Sanctuary to live his life in peace, and now I am dogless. This is no kind of apocalypse.'

Robert Brockway on Fallout 4, ladies and gentlemen.

Get it looked at by someone, if you don't it will play up when it's the busiest/coldest period of the year and you won't be able to get anyone round for weeks...

@sprout HR bruv - Take the pooch somewhere safe. Communicate and bond let him know you are there for him and you respect the pumbling he takes on ur behalf. Do some tricks (he is good at sitting and rolling over). Then make sure you buy or get him some heavy armour, it's only right he has the same protection. He actually likes BDSM don't worry so much. Take him for a swim he loves that.

On a different track - Thought if you could spend a day in a woman's body. Would you? Personally I think it would be like LSD x 10

On the dose thing: Lysergamides seem much worse than phen/trypts for inducing or exacerbating latent MH issues so given my less than stellar history in that area I'm pretty damn wary of jumping in at heavy doses.

Random thought but: running through my old music collection and started listening to HIM's discography - anyone who denies the overwhelming attractiveness of Ville Valo, regardless of sexuality, is a damn liar. ;)

Although I've never had a psychotic illness you can imagine what state my mental health is in being a smackhead, neurotic, anxious, alone, guilty etc- so when I took my first penny acid back in may I was ready for it to start dragging up all the negative shite in my brain. Ive never been so wrong, although the 1-P is very similar to street acid it its alot more forgiving and 'controllable' (at least at doses of 200mcg or less) while still maintaining the intensity and potency of the best lysergic trip you could imagine. I did a fair few over the summer, a couple of times with mates, and although I always had benzos on standby in case things went west but not once did I need to take them for any of the trips. I found that they honestly gave my brain a good spring clean, yes, it did dredge up alot of shit from my subconccious, but the autistic nature of the LSD state seemed to allow me to mentally rise above the human condition if that makes sense - it objectified everything in my mind so I actually found it easier to face some of my issues and ultimately my train of thought became secure as my thought loops stayed positive and insightful throughout

Although I havnt had any since August (2 tabs - WOWSER) I still have a nice block of 25 left which I have packaged away safely for when I get a free house again (unlikely for months) or for when the weather starts getting better.

I totally sympathise with your reservations about taking a chemical of this nature but I dont think Ive ever been as evangelical about a drug. Its a perfectly powerful lysergemide, yet one that seems to be designed for fucked up heads due to its forgiving nature, uncannily predictable duration of action (8 hours which is long enough for a trip as far as im concerned) and its beautiful effect. I havnt fallen in instant love with a drug like this since my first E or my first nod from gear.

Finally got time to have a proper long shower after like a week and a half of being so busy it's been a jump in quick, baps, flaps and out deal. Feels fucking awesome.

Also I bought my dragon a new basking spot/hide and she's making a point of sitting on her old one at the other side of the tank looking majestic and disinterested

Hey hey, all good here, hope you're doin alright, always nice to see ya about :)

What was more of a shock for me is calling a cigarette a fag! DAFUQ!

Never thought about having a fag in my mouth tbh. Don't think i'd be their thing anyway! :\
