While I appreciate Clarkian Evolution as a concept, the Skink is a creature that embodies its flaws IMO.

Evolution is random and non-selective, yet firmly multi-directional.
The evolution of Hominids is a spanner in natural works.
We have a society that selects traits faster than preferential genetic mutation ever could.

Bank holidays were my favourite day when I was working regular 12-18 hour shifts, double pay for doing fuck all? Cheers. Now they suck cos I do security at a doctors and they're fucking closed bank holidays. Need to get a new job tbh, got into a row with a wildly drunk guy a few weeks back, knackered my already fucked hip and got bounced off a Land Rover all for minimum wage. Fuck that lark, was all I was thinking about sat on the cunt waiting for the police to show up. Got more when I was a cleaner.

Yeah I will, is mostly just drunks round there so not too hard to handle as long as they're not really mad or armed I guess :) Can't be doing with it, can't deny I like the adrenaline rush and it's a work out but not worth what I'm getting paid. Missus has got out of it and I'm looking to have something new within the next few months, just easy enough to carry on at the moment as it works me uni schedule.

Remember the pain of an unexpected bank holiday when I was ordering etiz and all that, god it was annoying
 
I don't any more but that's purely down to the fact that it's winter and I don't like my ears getting cold. I do wear a lot of plaid and Doc Martens though, so I'm not doing a total disservice to my kind ;) Did have a mohawk for a long time but the incident I described earlier put paid to that. One of our friends is proper militant and it's hilarious, rainbow flags everywhere kinda gig

In Scotland we get the 1st and 2nd of January as public holidays too. Means people like me don't go back to our generous flexi-time and home-working 35 hours a week until the 5th January %)
