Good evening, class-a. Are you well? Hope you're well. Do you hope I'm well? Hope you do.
haha, so true, my nephew can use a mouse since he was 3 to surf youtube for kids cartoons!
Hey Sammy, I'm good thanksof course I hope you're well, are you well? :D
Yeah it's messed up. I think the internet must have a big impact on one's attention span in particular.
With that said, the internet has taught me a lot more than any formal education.
Did you just come up with that? I like you more and more every day Kingmeas it seems to me like we are trying to paint the rainbow of emotion and experience in 8bit colors.
just wait till you see my nudie pics...Did you just come up with that? I like you more and more every day Kingme![]()
iPad if you're into Apple, Kindle Fire for the e-books; or if you have no stromng preference for a particular one, just get a generic Android tablet -- you can download and install both Kindle and ePub-compatible reading applications.I need to go Argos n get a tsblet though goodness knows which one i'm going to get for my five year old. Not those kiddie ones as the games are like £15-20 whereas with apps on tablets they're 99p-£2.99.
Something with reading facilities to help her read.
That's very true. I think it's fucked up how parents give their kids smart phones before they even learn to spell. I'm only 20 myself and have had a mobile since I was 11 but if I had a child there's no way they'd be getting a phone till they're at least 13. My 3-year-old cousin can use an iPhone ffs, I don't understand how her parents think that's acceptable.
My kids are clearly happiest when running around in feilds/woods/parks/puddles... and that is where most weekends are spent..
How long will i have to wait?? Should i go ahead with my normal material for tonight :Djust wait till you see my nudie pics...

If you're planning on letting an unsupervised child use it, do not store your credit card number; entering it every time and removing it after every purchase will be by far and away preferrable to the alternative.
My daughter is 5 and myself and her mother try to limit ger time infront of a screen.. Unfortunately its also a necessary evil these days that they start at a fairly young age using various technologies, they fall behind their peers, the schools start kids using computers from the day they start school.. its just part of life now..![]()
Glad to hear you're well. Are ye well? :D
How's Poland? I nearly went back 'home' To Cork this weekend, funnily enough. I should've gone to Poland and helped your cultural development instead, don't you think? :D
im not so sure... i think the ability to focus is learnt as well. for instance, its only when i have extra time or feel strssed that i actually waste time around the internet. when i direct my use towards practical goals (reseach, writing or something) i can be pretty restrained.
formal education can have its merits too, especially in the young. if i were to only study what i liked and how i liked it, i dont think i would have gotten very far. sometimes its good to ahve proper guidance and be obliged to learn stuff thats not immediatly rewarding or seemingly practical. organic chemistry for instance - you learn a lot in the begning until it all comes together. math is an important stepping stone in all science, and literature should be compulsory - if anything, sms speak and internet forums make the use of extended vocabulary redundant. which is a shame, as it seems to me like we are trying to paint the rainbow of emotion and experience in 8bit colors.
