I don't understand why the mods are still enabling this person's behavior. This isn't even a section I really frequent but even so I can tell this clearly isn't a positive place for her and to keep banning her and bringing her back is just creating a never ending cycle all the while dragging everyone else in the forum down as well.

everybody has an opinion on this subject but, frankly, the situation would be almost non-existent if others stopped pouring gas on the fire, stopped engaging a person who clearly annoys them instead of simply ignoring that person and stopped assuming the worst and jumping to ill-informed, erroneous conclusions.

it takes two to tango and a lot of people are dancing here...

Once again Ali quotes someone's post but not before taking out all of the relevant points. Pretty weak dude. Just because I don't frequent this section on a regular basis doesn't mean I haven't seen what's gone on as far this. And who's jumping to ill-informed erroneous conclusions? The poster in question has demonstrated over and over her propensity for extremely self destructive behavior so what are people supposed to do, just sit back and watch? By bending the rules for this person over and over the mods are just perpetuating the cycle of enabling her while the forum is also forced to deal with her abuse. Kind of flies in the face of harm reduction to me, but obviously that's what they want.
 
my point - which i obviously failed to make clearly enough - is that to somebody who doesn't have all the facts at their fingertips, this situation looks different to somebody who does.

and nobody is forced to deal with her abuse. don't like what she posts? ignore her. problem solved.

some people claim that she's annoying but they can't seem to just ignore her posts. to me, they're as much a part of this problem.
