Giants vs. Rangers World Series

I voted for the Giants, and I don't really care either way who wins. And that's a great thing.

I really like Josh Hamilton, he is a former Red I wish Cincy never traded. But what a great story his life is.

But I also love Lincecum. He has awesome hair, he is a freak on the mound, but best of all he loves to smoke weed, proven by his pot bust earlier this year.

And SF has the best ballpark in the majors, right up on the ocean.

Usually there is team I dislike in the W.S I always root against. Last year, NY, the team thast tries to buy World Series was in it. The year before the Phillies and Rays were in it, so this is the first year in a while I'll be happy with whoever wins it.
 
yeah it was disappointing that more people voted that they were more excited to watch Monday Night Football than Game 1 of the World Series. it's a sign of the times and a red herring that baseball just can't seem to stick on our generation

I am actually more excited for these two teams to square off than being forced to deal with another Yankees and Phillies WS

at least this match-up is exciting in that both of these teams aren't the usual perpetual powerhouses, and they both showcase a great bullpen. still, my interest isn't piqued too high. but far better than watching the usual suspects in the WS for another year
 
I got a feeling the Rangers can pull off a home sweep and the series goes back to the bay 2-3. Rangers haven't been able to play their usual game without a DH, but they'll have Guerrero back in the rotation now that they're playing in an AL park.

Looking forward to watching Cliff Lee pitch a decisive game 6 at Candlestick.
 
(i live in a cave) -- but wait, they didn't have Guerrero in the lineup for either of the first two games...?
 
^ First two games were at San Fran, an NL team(no DH)...he actually did start in right field in game one and made two errors. Feels weird seeing him used strictly as a DH, considering the cannon he used to have, specially during his Expo years.

Vlad is the man, because he doesn't fuck with batting gloves and can hit missiles even when a ball is pitched a foot+ out of the strike zone.
 
^Texas was the team with the big "T" on their hats last night.

Bush looks cool as hell for some reason. He doesn't have that chimpanzee squint on his brow any more.
 
Giants got this in the bag. Texas has to win vs Lincecum Cain, and Sanchez with two of the games at home. I'd kinda like to see it go back to SF at least though.
 
As a lifelong Dodgers fan , its painful to watch.
But not as painful as watching Bush throw out that pitch last night.

Gotta love Lincecum though, if only for his "Dazed and Confused" image.
