Its been almost 12 hours since I woke up which is about 15 hours since my last dose of GHB. I'm planning on quitting tonight but I feel very strange. The anxiety and negative feelings left but now I'm starting to get tingling on my face and head and starting to feel pressure on my face. I'm feeling a bit of air hunger like I can't get enough air into my lungs. I've only been using GHB and/or GBL to sleep for the past 2 weeks so I really shouldn't be addicted.

Now I'm euphoric. I can't complain now. It wasn't 2 weeks of 24/7 use, it was 2 weeks of using it to sleep at night. I feel like I'm on some kinda stimulant right now. In a good way. My vision is sharper than usual. I doubt that kinda thing comes with GHB withdrawal. I can't explain it though, its pretty bizarre.

I get a really unique feeling of relaxation and nostalgic euphoria after the anxiety clears up.

That's the dopamine rebound. If it becomes to intense, and you start to experience things that feel like electricity running through you, a lot of anxiety etc, that's when you know you're having a problem. You don't have to keep posting new threads for these updates though, this could have gone in the thread about the rebound. I'm not trying to be rude, as I know you're new to this site, but I thought I'd let you know.

good luck with quitting btw, if you're having sleep problems, try something like melatonin or valerian root in the future. Right now none of that shit is going to be effective probably as you've been using a pretty powerful sedative for sleeping purposes, but in the future you might want to try something less extreme. I got myself into a bit of trouble with fucking diphenhydramine of all things, so I don't mean to preach, just trying to help out, because their are definately things that are not addictive that can help with insomnia. Though unfortunately, they are not quite as fun.

I got a bit of sleep without GHB but things are getting weirder. When I fall asleep, I feel like my head is being crushed in the dream so I wake up a few minutes later. Is this something to do with the dopamine rebound? Will this wear off by tomorrow night? I'd say I got about 3 hours sleep in total.
